Care of Latex Clothing
Care of Latex Clothing can be tricky.
A little extra care for your latex clothing will keep it in good condition and prolong its life.
- Before attempting to put the garment on, ensure that the inside is well talced. Pull it on gently, taking care that fingernails or jewellery do not snag the material.
- Always store your clothing at room temperature. Cold will make the material less supple.
- Do not expose the product to sunlight for long periods, the ultra-violet light will cause deterioration. When not in use, keep in a closed drawer or similar.
- If you need to wash any garment, use warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and hang the latex garment up to dry. Turn it inside out after a short period to allow the inside to dry properly and avoid sticking together.
- After drying thoroughly the material can be made to shine with the application of a silicone spray applied sparingly. Then polish with a soft, dry cloth.
