Corset Guide

How to choose, measure and wear your steel boned corset.

Before you buy…

Measure your waist, and deduct 2 inches to obtain the best size.  Our corsets feature metal spirals and steel busks and reduce the waist by a few inches, and that is why you should make a deduction.

Corsets don’t just reduce your waist size, they will also:

* Highlight the hips
* Enhance any womans body
* Smaller waist gives the impression of bigger breasts
* Improves posture as you must sit straight and cannot slouch
* Helps give an hourglass shape, whatever your size

Lacing your Passion corset…

For your comfort it is crucial to lace up your corset properly.  The commonly assumed way of lacing up upwards, with tying up at the top is not the correct way. The most comfortable way is to put the laces in from above, and criss cross all the way down, leaving two big loops at the waist, tying up the loose ends at the bottom. Once you put the corset on, you can then tighten it up above and below, leaving your waist to last, to ensure the corset sits comfortably. When you finished gently tightening the corset around your waist, secure the laces with a knot.

Wearing your Passion corset…

A good corset will give you a good posture by keeping your back straight and your stomach pulled in. The corset will adapt itself to your body quickly. Please note that the boning is fragile and needs care when tightening the corset. Therefore, it is important not to apply great strength to the laces and take time to lace up properly and gently. When handled with care, your corset will serve you a long time.
