Smaller than the large "bulb" douches out there, which is great for storage/travel. Although you may want to fill it up 2-3 times each go. Not detachable, but as long as you use it properly, it is fine. The string on the end is useful to hang it up to dry after use. The provided lube is silicone-based and non-water soluble, which i personally don't prefer, so the rating i gave is based on the douche only.
